Meet Enerlace

We set up Enerlace to bring user-friendly digitalisation to the wind energy sector

Our purpose

It shouldn't be difficult to manage data

Wind energy plays a central role in the energy transition. But collecting, understanding, and trusting wind data is still surprisingly difficult. Enerlace was started with a simple belief: measurement campaigns should be easier to run, easier to understand, and easier to act on.

Today, we work closely with wind farm developers, consultants, and operators to remove complexity, so they can focus on building wind farms, not chasing data issues.

Built for fleets

You work with lots of different devices and data sources, so Moli does too. Our software can handle data from:

  • wind lidar
  • met masts
  • sodar
  • fuel cells
  • other software

Built for quality

Your goal is to get lots of high quality data. Moli checks your data automatically, looking out for common problems like:

  • No data transferred
  • Problems with data files
  • Flat-lining sensors
  • Out-of-range values

and many more. You’ll get a warning by email, so you can react in time.

Built for everyone

Moli includes a wide range of features that are designed to make data easy to understand.

There’s everything you would expect from a monitoring tool – like time series plots and monthly summaries – as well as automated reports to give you a quick summary.

Built for organisations

Moli includes a comprehensive organisation management system.

You can invite your colleagues and service providers, and give them appropriate rights to view and manage your campaigns. The campaign logbook helps keep everyone on the same page.

An admin dashboard means you never lose track of who you’re working with.

Who we are

A team with shared purpose

Enerlace is headquartered in Dornstetten, Baden-Württemberg, a small town in Germany’s Black Forest, where we combine hands-on industry experience with a healthy dose of curiosity and pragmatism.

We’re engineers, software developers, and problem-solvers – and yes, we genuinely enjoy what we do. Our culture is based on openness, tackling problems early, and having fun while doing it.

Every person here contributes to shaping the future of wind monitoring, and we’re proud of the momentum we’ve built.

Dr. sc. Andy Clifton

CEO

Specializing in wind energy & complex terrain in Europe & North America since 2004.

Dr.-Ing. Ines Würth

Product Owner

Over a decade of experience with all types of lidar, both onshore and offshore.

Steffen Abel

CTO

15 years of building SaaS tools for B2B and B2C applications.

Jonas Held

Dornstetten – our home in the Black Forest.

Calm, connected, and a great place to build something.

How we work

Focused, flexible, and always learning

We’re deeply involved in the wind community, working alongside industry bodies such as IEA Wind to stay close to new developments. You’ll see us at wind energy events and conferences as well, keeping up with what’s new in wind energy

We build fast, iterate often, and stay grounded in the real needs of measurement teams and developers. That’s why our tools are constantly evolving—always shaped by real-world use, not just theory.

We’ve also received support through the German Government’s EXIST program and the Baden Württemberg Junge Innovatoren Program, which has helped us accelerate development and bring more innovation to the sector.

Where we're going

Building the future of wind monitoring

Our mission is to make high-quality measurement campaigns accessible to every project, no matter the size or complexity.

We’re scaling our team, expanding our platform, and working closely with partners globally to rethink what wind monitoring and data management can look like.

If you’d like to be part of this journey, we’d love to talk, whether you’re a collaborator, a potential new team member, or simply curious.
