Join us as our full stack developer

We’re looking for a fullstack developer to join us as soon as possible! You’ll lead our day-to-day coding with support from the CTO and product developer, and take responsibility for helping develop the product and implement feedback from users.

What you bring to the team

We’re looking for someone to grow to become our full stack web developer. You don’t need to be able to do everything now but should have some relevant experience already.

You’ll be our lead developer, working together with the product owner and CTO to deliver our MVP and Version 1.0 in the next few months. There’s a code base already, but you have freedom to adapt it.

Because we’re a startup, things don’t always go as planned. So, we’re looking for a person who is able to multitask, can look after their own workload, and communicates what they are up to and what help they need.

Training and mentoring is available to help you to grow into the role.

This is a remote-first position, but for Junge Innovatoren you need to be resident in Germany.

If you’d like to discuss your experience and your fit for the position, please feel free to make an appointment here.

What awaits you

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Can work alone or in a team, depending on the tasks to be done
  • Can communicate with a multinational, multidisciplinary team
  • Can translate hand waving and ideas into code, deploying quickly to get feedback
  • Organizes themselves
  • Has a working knowledge of version control systems like git and GitHub
  • Understands that done is better than perfect, but builds good foundations
  • Wants to learn about full stack web development.

What we offer you

We’re a startup from the University of Stuttgart. Our mission is to enable digitalisation in wind energy. That means helping our customers extract value from their data and build new businesses.

We’re a small team with great mentors. We’re running pilot projects with users across Europe and North America. Our next goal is to get our first web-app onto the market and spin up sales.

This is more than an idea. We’re funded. We’ve had a year of the German EXIST Gründerstipendium to develop our concept, and will have funding for 3 people through the Junge Innovatoren Programm from 1st of March 2024 until February 2025.

We’re striving to create a working culture where anyone can feel they belong, regardless of gender, age, sexuality, mobility, personal circumstances, national origin, or other factors.

We particularly encourage applications from women and under-represented groups. Please contact us even if you do not have all of the skills we’re looking for.
