Sharing “Lessons Learned” at the IEA Wind Task 52 General Meeting

On Tuesday 14th May in Berlin we’ll be presenting some of what we’ve learned over the last year of developing our wind lidar monitoring app. We’re looking forward to catching up with the wind lidar community!

Join us at the IEA Wind Task 52 General Meeting

IEA Wind: collaborating to advance wind energy deployment

IEA Wind TCP (Technology Collaboration Programme) is an international collaboration to bring researchers, government, and industry together to share experience with the goal of advancing wind energy deployment. Currently, 24 countries collaborate through IEA Wind TCP.

IEA Wind Task 52 is focussed on the issues associated with the large-scale deployment of wind lidar, so there’s a great fit to what we at are enerlace are doing, and we’ve been happy to support Task 52 since its start.

Sharing our experience with the wind lidar community

When we started our journey with enerlace and our wind lidar monitoring tool, we had a lot of experience in R&D and technology transfer, but had a lot to learn about turning that into a product. This is not unusual for researchers, and so we wanted to take this opportunity to share our lessons learned with the Task 52 community.

We’ll be presenting our experience with developing a wind lidar monitoring app in Berlin on the 14th May. If you can’t make it, we’ll repeat this as a webinar in June.
