Met masts, wind lidar, and sodar all need their own power supplies when they are used away from grid power.

To ensure high availability from your wind measurements, you need a reliable source of power.
There are a few common solutions to this:
- Power trailers, with the lidar or sodar outside and connected by a power cable;
- Trailers where the power system and lidar or sodar are housed in the trailer
- Containerised versions of the above
- Standalone solar panels, fuel-cells, generators, and battery packs, connected to the lidar or sodar.
The choice is almost endless, and there are suppliers globally.

- your company’s name,
- the country where the company is incorporated,
- the URL of the company website,
- the URL of any product information, for example a product information page or a launch announcement. This can also be a link to LinkedIn, or a third-party website.
We may take steps to confirm the information you give us, and that you are an authorised representative of your company, before we add the information to this page.
